Dry Ice Cleaning
Cosmetic restoration tailored to your project.
Dry ice blasting has emerged as the premier method for cosmetic restoration in the automotive industry, offering unparalleled benefits over traditional cleaning techniques. Utilizing compressed air to propel dry ice pellets at high speeds, our innovative process safely and effectively removes stubborn dirt, grease, oil, surface rust, or even deteriorating paint without damaging the underlying surface. The unique properties of dry ice ensure a clean, residue-free finish, making it the superior choice for preserving the integrity and aesthetics of your unique and invaluable vehicle.
So, how does Dry Ice Blasting work?
KINETIC ENERGY
Dry ice pellets are accelerated by compressed air through specially designed nozzles at ultrasonic speeds.
THERMAL SHOCK
There is a rapid cooling of the surface upon impact, causing the contaminates to become brittle and release from the surface.
RAPID EXPANSION
After contact with the contaminated surface, the dry ice pellets expand over 800 times and ‘sublimate’, safely and effectively removing any contaminates.

Aftermarket or factory undercoating removal done with ease without damage to the underlying surface. Most undercoatings leave a goopy, greasy finish; hindering the ability to detect leaks and damage to the underside of your vehicle.
Undercoating Removal
Easily remove carbon deposit buildup from throttle bodies, cylinder heads, valves, and combustion chambers. Parts must be detached from engine to clean thoroughly*
Carbon Contamination Cleaning
Alcantara and Suede Restoration
Dry ice cleaning has proved to be the ideal method for cleaning alcantara and suede! Bring the life back to matted seats, steering wheels, and headliners without damaging or compromising the original finish.

FAQs
-
Dry ice is a form of carbon dioxide (CO₂) that’s frozen solid at -109° F. When dry ice is exposed to the atmosphere, it begins to sublimate, forming a dense “fog”. Dry ice can come in different forms such as: blocks, flakes, or pellets. In our industry, we use dry ice in pellet form.
-
Dry Ice Blasting is the preferred method of cleaning and surface preparation in various industries.
Gentile and Non Abrasive Dry ice cleaning works on a molecular level. It effectively cleans surfaces without causing damage- making it suitable for delicate equipment or materials.
No Water This means we can clean areas as delicate as inside of a fuse box.
Reduced Downtime This cleaning process is quick and effective- meaning we have the capability to clean hard to reach areas with precision and accuracy. This results in a spotless clean without ANY disassembly to your vehicle or equipment!
General Maintenance Dry ice cleaning your equipment and vehicles will prolong their lifespan and use. Easily identify leaks or mechanical failures without being hindered by previously compiled contaminates.
No Secondary Waste Unlike sandblasting or other chemical cleaning methods, dry ice blasting does not generate secondary waste. The dry ice pellets sublimate into gas upon impact, leaving behind only the removed contaminates.
Versatility Dry ice blasting can remove a wide range of contaminates safely including grease, oil, paint, adhesives, mold, and much more from various surfaces such as metal, plastic, rubber, wood, glass, or concrete.
-
Yes!
Dry ice blasting is non abrasive, non conductive, and is free from water or chemicals.
Our innovative dry ice blasting equipment features particle, pressure, and consumption controls that allow us to accurately and precisely remove contaminates without harming the underlying surface.
This makes it the most effective cleaning method for delicate materials and components.
-
Any contaminated surface can be a candidate for a dry ice cleaning!
Metal, Plastic, Rubber, Alcantara, Suede, Cloth, Wood, Concrete, Glass (no leather)

Dry Ice Cleaning does not involve the use of water or chemicals. It is non toxic, non corrosive and non abrasive. It does not yield any secondary waste or require any disassembly to be cleaned in its entirely. Dry ice cleaning will not harm any surface and can be utilized to clean mechanical and electrical components.
Sand Blasting is extremely abrasive and may cause damage to the impacted surface. Blasting materials may be toxic and will leave behind an immense amount of secondary waste.
Pressure Washing is not as effective as removing adhered contaminates from surfaces. With its use of water, pressure washing cannot be used indoors or near any mechanical or electrical components. Furthermore, pressure washing may lead to future rust problems if moisture is not completely removed from the surface of any metals.
Chemicals are toxic and cannot remove deep adhering contaminates.
Hand Tools are abrasive and require much effort to clean a surface. Disassembly is also required to reach small cracks and crevices.
-
Absolutely!
This is where dry ice cleaning outshines other cleaning methods. Dry ice can seamlessly remove adhered contaminates without compromising the original material or surface.
-
Yes.
Always take into consideration the current condition of what you want cleaned. For example: removal of aftermarket undercoating may cause unexpected leaks.
Why? Some undercoating (or even an excess accumulation of oil and dirt) can actually act as a seal by blocking small cracks and crevices. Once the undercoating is removed and the undercarriage is clean, any areas prone to leakage may start to leak again.
It is important to be aware of the underlying condition of your vehicle. This is not a common occurrence, rather just something to be aware of!
-
Surface rust, yes!
Dry ice blasting removes all loosely adhering oxidation and salts, but does not remove deeply adhering oxidation.
-
In the air and eventually on every horizontal surface surrounding the work! Including the floor of course. This is why we cover and mask every vehicle while cleaning.
-
Our rate of service is $258/hr. Materials are included.
Each project is unique and will undergo a personalized treatment depending on its current condition. Undercoating removal may take up to 12 hours while an engine bay cleaning may only take 45 minutes.
We work closely with our clients to optimize efficiency within the parameters of your budget.

We’re having a hard time figuring out what isn’t!
Vehicle undercarriages are very popular due to the ease of undercoating and oil stain removal. It can restore alcantara, suede, or vinyl upholstery back to it’s original condition. It can clean the inside (yes, inside) of a fuse box without ANY damage. It can bring the life back to any plastic trim and rubber moulding. It can effectively remove mold and bring charred wood back to its original condition. It can remove baked on vinyl wrap or old, cracking PPF without sacrificing your paint.
